No personal data collected - the extension does not collect, store, or transmit any personally identifiable information.
Stream playback only - the extension connects directly to our Icecast audio stream to play the live broadcast. No listening history is recorded or shared.
Now Playing data - the extension fetches publicly available now playing metadata (current track/show) from our stream server to display in the popup. This request contains no user data.
No third party tracking - the extension does not include any advertising SDKs, analytics trackers, or third party scripts.
Permissions - the extension requests only the minimum permissions required. Below is a full breakdown of each permission and why it is needed:

offscreen

Used to maintain uninterrupted audio playback when the popup is closed or when the extension is operating in Side Panel mode. This ensures users can continue listening to the live Tower Block Radio stream while browsing other websites without interruption.

storage

Used to save user preferences locally, including volume settings, notification preferences, Side Panel mode settings, and other extension configuration options. No personal information is stored or transmitted.

notifications

Used to alert users about upcoming live broadcasts, show start times, and important Tower Block Radio events. Notifications help users avoid missing scheduled shows and can be disabled by the user at any time.

alarms
