These terms set out the conditions for virtual (online-only) membership of Towerblock Radio CIC, including digital access, benefits and obligations.

Scope

These terms apply to all virtual members of Towerblock Radio CIC, including online supporters, digital subscribers and remote community members.

Definitions

• Virtual membership means membership that exists entirely online, with no in-person benefits.
• Virtual member means a person who holds virtual membership.
• Digital content means content accessed online, including audio, video, text and interactive features.

Responsibilities

The board approves the virtual membership terms. The Operations Lead manages virtual membership. Virtual members follow the terms.

Policy Statement

Towerblock Radio CIC offers virtual membership to build a global community of supporters. These terms set out the conditions of virtual membership, ensuring clarity for members and the organisation.

Detailed Procedures

Virtual membership registration

• Virtual membership is open to anyone who meets the eligibility criteria.
• Virtual members must provide accurate information during registration.
• Virtual members must be 16 or older. Members under 18 require parental consent.
• Virtual membership is personal and non-transferable.

Digital access

• Virtual members receive digital access to content, features or community spaces as defined by their membership tier.
• Access is provided through the website or designated platforms.
• Towerblock Radio CIC aims to maintain digital access but does not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

Payment

• Virtual membership fees are processed through Stripe or another approved payment processor.
• Fees may be charged monthly or annually.
• Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
• Virtual members can cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

Digital content

• Digital content provided to virtual members is for personal use only.

Virtual member conduct

Virtual members must:

• Follow the Acceptable Use Policy.
• Treat other members, staff, volunteers and artists with respect.
• Not misuse digital access or share access credentials.
• Keep their account information secure.

Data protection

Virtual member data is handled in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

Termination

Towerblock Radio CIC may terminate virtual membership if a member breaches these terms or any policy. Virtual members may cancel at any time. Fees are non-refundable on termination, except where required by law.

Changes to terms

Towerblock Radio CIC may update these terms. The version published on the website at the time of membership applies.
